Back in early December, we were thrilled to supply Lights Control Rigging for The National Lottery’s New Year’s Eve Big Bash at the OVO Arena, Wembley.

This pre-recorded ITV spectacular brought together the incredible talents of Lighting Designer Tim Routledge and the brilliant team at TBI Media, who transformed the arena into a dazzling celebration of 2024’s biggest moments.

Celebrating 30 years of changing lives, the National Lottery invited veterans from the Taxi Charity for Military Veterans onto the stage to mark the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Cirque du Soleil also graced the stage, enchanting millions with an exclusive performance from their show CORTEO. Furthermore, the event featured incredible performances from pop sensations Perrie Edwards, KSI, and Craig David.

Tim’s stunning lighting design featured a show-stopping line-up of industry-leading fixtures, with our latest addition- the Martin MAC One- taking centre stage. Robe iFortes provided key lighting for the acts, while iForte LTX follow spots tracked them across the stage. Ayrton Cobras, Khamsins, Rivales and Argo FXs illuminated the venue in a New Year’s spectacle like no other. Tim also utilised Clay Paky HyB-Eye 25s to immerse the audience in a wash of light as Chauvet Color STRIKE M units added the perfect back-of-camera fill to complete the magic.

The night was an electrifying fusion of music and light, an unforgettable way to ring in the New Year!
