Chase & Status
One of the most explosive tours of 2025, LCR was brought on board by Production Manager Mike Clegg and acclaimed Lighting and Show Designer Sam Tozer to support a demanding run of six shows across major UK cities.
Short in duration but intense in pace, the Chase & Status arena tour required a lighting package that could deliver consistently across a run of back-to-back shows. Reliability, precision and efficiency were essential.
“LCR were our first choice for this project,” confirmed Tozer. “Given the complexity of the upstage stack, we needed everything prepped to perfection. Huge shoutout to Rob Watson for handling the account, and to Neil Johnson and the touring crew for delivering a rock-solid system on the road.”
The creative vision was to bring an industrial, club-inspired atmosphere into large-scale arenas. Depth and layering were central to the design, with a tracked vanish screen, and a total of 114 Ayrton Rivales rigged in a large upstage grid formation. The result was a layered visual stack providing a pulsating extension of the stage energy and content.
Also in the mix, Tozer’s lighting design included Ayrton Domino LTs, ROBE iForte followspots, GLP JDC1 Strobes and Impression X4 Bar20s as well as Martin Professional MAC Aura XIPs.
Our very own Senior Account Manager Rob Watson express that “It was a joy to work with Sam and Mike Clegg on this tour.”
For LCR, the tour was another opportunity to deliver a reliable, high-performance lighting rental and touring solution for a fast-paced arena production, working closely with the creative and touring teams from pre-production through to the final show.
